So, I haven't had a loss in 3 weeks. I've got 11 days until my birthday and I STILL can't seem to shed those last 2 pounds. Instead of sulking, I wanted to share some recent comparison pics. I was hoping this week would be the week that I finally hit my goal of 30 pounds lost and I could write this final weight loss post and focus on my training. Unfortunately not! I will share the pictures with you all anyway and call it "March Motivation."
My body still isn't perfect, and probably never will be. I've still got a little pudge in my belly and cellulite in my thighs, but I feel 1000% better about myself compared to June of last year. I'm getting stronger every day!
I know, you're probably saying "WOW!" I just look at the left and ask myself "Did you even own a mirror?" I guess I just wore big enough clothes that this never really bothered me until I tried to get in a bathing suit!
WARNING: Next picture shows a lot of skin, so if you are offended easily (lol) please scroll down!
The picture above on the left is about a month after I started working out and eating better. I still didn't feel comfortable in a bathing suit, but I made it work. As you can see, I lost a little bit up top (WAH!) and I need to invest in a new bikini top :) BUT also keep in mind that the bottom I'm wearing in the picture on the right is different from the one on the left. I couldn't even FIT into the one on the right back then. Progress! :)
My biggest problem with myself is that I have always been pear-shaped. Small on top, big on the bottom. That still applies, but I've learned to love my curves even now that I'm in shape.
Last but not least, my super "WOW!" picture of the day.
I kind of laughed when I saw this picture after Jason took it for me. I feel like I should be doing MMA or something. [lol] I love this picture because I have been working really hard, especially the past two weeks training with Frank for my FBI test. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be talking about it, but I guess since they never mentioned not to that it's ok :) The test is really intense and harder than any of the entrance exams that I've come across. My biggest weakness has always been my lack of upper body strength, but LOOK AT THOSE GUNS!!! ;) I made Danni do my arms workout at the gym last night and she said she couldn't even use the steering wheel or wash her hair last night LOL
Once I hit that goal, those last 2 pounds, I will write a synposis of my journey. Everyone always asks me "How did you do it?" and while I give little tidbits here and there, it's not something that I can just write in a facebook message or talk about in person unless someone really has the time to discuss.
I have to say that if I could find enough motivation to get a passion for teaching, I would love to get certified as a personal trainer and a group exercise instructor. I find this so amusing because my major in college for 4 years, until my very last semester was Exercise and Sport Science. I had 2 more classes to take to graduate with it, but because the two classes would have caused me to be there an extra semester I changed my major so I could graduate in the Fall. I can still become certified pretty easily, so I guess we will see where this takes me :)
Until next time loves ♥ ♥
